A planned protest in front of Prince George’s City Hall has been postponed according to the event organizers.
Fridays For Future PG announced via Facebook the Black Lives Matter protest slated for Friday will not be moving ahead.
The post says the event will take place at a later date.
Another protest associated with the movement took place in front of City Hall back on June 5th, with a second taking place the following day at the intersection of Highways 16 and 97.
The international movement, and conversations about the impact of systemic racism, came following the death of George Floyd in Minnesota.
