Prince George filmmaker Norm Coyne has been selected as one of 100 Canadians to participate in the exclusive 2020 Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices Initiative.
The initiative looks to offer unique opportunities for 100 Francophone, Indigenous, women and non-binary creators and producers from across Canada.
“I’m thrilled to be recognized as an emerging Indigenous creator through the Netflix-BANFF Diversity of Voices Initiative,” said Coyne.
Coyne will receive a full access pass to BANFF 2020 and will be included in a professional development program.
He hopes participating in the initiative will help his career as a filmmaker and create opportunities to attract future productions to Prince George and northern B.C.
