The Golf and Curling Club was wall-to-wall with teams representing every corner of the country.
On Monday, Team BC’s Women Curlers defeated Nunavut 10 – 3, then went on to beat the Northwest Territories 8 -1 .
Coach Ernie Daniels reflects on the victories, saying “The girls looked a little bit nervous out there to start the game, but they seem to settle down a little bit as it went on.”
Team BC is up against the Yukon, Tuesday morning.
Daniels says they will be stiff competition for his BC team.
“They are an up-and-coming team, they have good coaching, I think they’ll give us a good run, for sure,” he says.
Daniels says the team will go far if they practice the keys to success.
“I think it’s definitely being patient, as long as they’re patient with their game, and play their hardest, I think they have a good shot,” he says.
