The Prince George Municipal Detachment will be reopening its front counter for non-essential services such as fingerprinting and Police Information Checks today (Tuesday).
All staff will have access to personal protective equipment (PPE) and, depending on the service required, may provide clients with PPE.
The front counter and other non-essential services will be open to the public from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. on weekdays.
Officers will continue to respond to calls as usual, although non-emergency incidents should be reported over the phone and not in-person to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
The Prince George RCMP are also encouraging the public to utilize their online crime reporting tool.
