UNBC is working to find creative solutions to some of the restrictions put in place by COVID-19.
The announcement that the school’s 2020 grad class would not have a physical convocation ceremony was initially met with resistance, leading the school to simply postpone the face-to-face celebration.
As apart of the school’s efforts to recognize the 2020 graduates, a campus car parade will be hosted on May 29th, with graduands being invited to dress up and decorate their vehicles.
Faculty and Staff will be invited to line the UNBC walkway and cheer for the graduating class.
Video of the parade may be featured in the virtual ceremony, which is set to take place on June 26.
