Major Crimes now assisting in search for missing Quesnel man

The E Division Major Crime Unit has now been brought in to assist in the search for a missing 61-year-old Quesnel man.

Andrew Charles Ward was reported missing on Tuesday and was last seen on May 9th.

Ward, who also goes by Andy, was last seen at approximately 8:30 P.M. on the Pinnacles sub road near Quesnel, BC.

He is described as:

  • 5’8″ tall
  • thin build
  • short, dark, salt and pepper hair with a scruffy beard
  • tattoos over both arms
  • wears glasses

The North District RCMP are looking for dashcam footage to aid in the investigation.

Corporal Madonna Saunderson is asking for video from anyone who was travelling along the Barkerville Highway, as well as the Baker Creek to Bear Valley Road on Saturday, May 9th between 6:30 P.M. to 10 P.M.

Anyone with footage or information is asked to call the Quesnel RCMP at 250-992-9211, or Crime Stoppers.
