Reservoir levels on the Nechako seem to be at normal averages for this time of year.
Nechako Operations Coordinator Justus Benckhuysen says they are at 115% of long term averages.
“It’s a little more extra snow compared to the normal for this time of year,” says Benckhuysen, “but nothing to be concerned about.”
Benckhuysen says its too early to say what the situation will be in the spring.
He says the reservoir covers around 14,000 square kilometres in the Upper Nechako area.
