11 regional parks open for day trips, with some restrictions

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George has announced that as of today (Friday) 11 regional parks will be open to the public.

Notably, these locations are open for day-use only, with no overnight camping permitted.

Physical distancing will be required, and visitors are encouraged to avoid touching gates, fences and other surfaces with their hands.

The 11 parks within the Regional District parks system are:

• Giscome-Portage/Huble Homestead (opening June 1)
• Harold Mann
• John Dahl
• Koeneman
• Kristian Winther
• McMillan Creek
• Ness Lake
• Wilkins
