About 41 lane kilometres of road and 2.5 kilometres of sidewalk are scheduled for rehabilitation or construction this year.

The largest road project is expected to be a three-kilometer section on Bellamy Road in the Hart Neighbourhood while the biggest sidewalk operation will be on Patricia Boulevard from Queensway to Taylor Drive.

Street sweeping and line painting

According to the City of Prince George, crews have already patched about 650 potholes so far this year.

Sweeping operations recently got underway and will continue into the summer.

Line painting is expected to begin in early May and to be completed by the end of June.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution around all road crews.

Residents can assist crews in their efforts to keep roads as smooth and pothole-free as possible by contacting the Service Centre:
