Prince George Public Library receives $26,500 from Provincial Governmet

Those who have been using the Prince George Public Library’s online resources will now have access to over 43,000 more titles.

As apart of the Provincial Government’s one-time investment of 3 million dollars into libraries, the Prince George Public Library will receive $26,500.

The money will provide library users access to an additional 16,000 audiobooks and 26,000 eBooks on Hoopla Digital, the library’s chosen media streaming platform.

In addition, the funding will be used for staff training, and to purchase equipment to improve and expand virtual programs.
