Following the mandate by the Provincial Government disallowing gatherings of over 250 people because of the Covid-19 pandemic, The Canadian Home Builders’ Northern BC have cancelled the annual Home and Garden Show.
The show, in its 43rd year, was scheduled for April 24-26 in Prince George.
“We want to ensure that vendors, event partners, and service providers are provided with as much notice as possible so that they are able to adjust their possible travel and staffing plans and perhaps revisit planned revenue and expense budgets with the absence of the annual home show,” said association President Jody Tindill.
“Our deepest regrets, however, our association and community are resilient and we will work together to meet the challenges ahead,” she added.
The dates for next year will be announced soon, according to Tindill.
