Curling enthusiasts listen closely, because Team BC would like your support in their run for the 2015 Scotties tournament of Hearts.
The big stage competition will see the British Columbian women’s curling team lead by PG local Patti Knezevic, who says a fundraiser this weekend will help with their training efforts and expenses.
She says its also a final opportunity to have some fun before the work really begins:
“Its a celebration for sure, a sendoff for this team BC and we have had wonderful community support and we would like to show our appreciation as well”
If you’d like to support the team, you can grab tickets at the Prince George Golf and Curling club for $25 each.
The fundraiser takes place on Sunday, February 8th at the Fore Bistro and Patio at the PG Golf and Curling Club.
