2019 has been a year full of unique challenges, and victories, for Prince George’s downtown.
Colleen Van Mook, Executive Director of Downtown PG, characterized the year as being “full of change of growth,” for the area.
“We’re definitely seeing a change in the retail world… it makes room for new and exciting things,” Van Mook explained.
In regards to some of the challenges downtown businesses have faced, Van Mook stated: “I think we need to sort out some of the social issues like every community.”
