UNBC outlines potential changes to semester length if strike remains unresolved.

On Friday, The University of Nothern British Columbia (UNBC) announced that its latest proposal was rejected by the UNBC Faculty Association (UNBCFA).

This latest offer “now includes the removal of non-monetary issues deemed as key rights by the FA” according to UNBC’s official statement.

UNBC has addressed the possibility of extending the fall semester until the end of the official exam period in mid-December.

UNBC’s official release also examined the possibility of classes continuing into the new year if an agreement is not made by December 3rd.

Up-to-date information on the UNBC strike is available on UNBC’s website.
