Many facilities in Prince George will have limited availability to the public before, during, and in some cases, after the City officially hosts the 2015 Canada Winter Games from February the 13th to March the 1st.
Here is a full list of Civic facility operations during the games:
-CN Centre: Exclusive use of the 2015 Games from February 2 to March 3.
-Kin 1 Arena: Exclusive use of the 2015 Games from February 8 to March 5.
-Kin 2 Arena: Exclusive use of the 2015 Games from February 12 to March 1.
-Kin 3 Arena: Exclusive use of the 2015 Games from February 12 to March 1.
-Coliseum: Exclusive use of the 2015 Games from February 8 to February 26.
-Elksentre: Exclusive use of the 2015 Games from February 12 to February 21.
-Aquatic Centre: Regular hours from February 14 to February 18, exclusive use of the 2015 Games from February 19 to March 2.
-Four Seasons Pool: Regular hours from February 14 to February 18, extended hours from February 19 to March 2. (Back parking lot restricted for 2015 Games use as of February 9).
The Games also released the lineup for the first week of the Coldsnap Festival, which features Alan Doyle of Great Big Sea , Smithers local Alex Cuba and 2015 Juno nominated throat singer Tanya Tagaq.
