This morning (Wednesday) Miracle Theatre unveiled plans for its new production “The Birds and The Bees.”
Ted Price and Anne Laughlin, Director and Producer of Miracle Theatre, also announced which charity will be the recipient of the funds raised.
“We choose a play every and in turn choose a non-profit in town that we want to get behind and support financially,” said Price.
After raising just under $85,000.00 for the Children of Prince George Fund, under the trusteeship of the Prince George Community Foundation last year, they’ve decided to choose them again as recipients this year.
“What we have set the goal at, is if we can raise $150,000 it will create a kind of critical mass. Because that money itself is always kept safe by the foundation, but what they do is every single year they distribute the investment earnings and interest earnings to non-profits in town who need some financial help,” said Price.
