Edgewood Terrace residents concerned with high traffic

Some residents of Edgewood Terrace are concerned with the amount of development happening in the area.
The subdivision near North Nechako Road is seeing more construction of a gated residential community off Brinks Place.
Resident Doreen McFarlane says the biggest concern for her is there is only one access road off North Nechako Road.
“Which services I think about 150 houses,” says McFarlane, “and now they want to put more in, we have a school here, we are starting to get a lot of younger families in the neighbourhood.”
McFarlane also says there are no sidewalks and limited lighting in the area.
She says several presentations have been made to city council, with a letter of concern sent last month as being the most recent appeal for change.
