Traffic flowing again on John Hart Bridge after ruptured sewer main

Traffic should be back to normal along the John Hart Bridge as the city repaired a ruptured sewer main.

Traffic was down to single lane as of last night (Tuesday) while crews were making repairs but have since been cleaned up.

Manager of Utilities Wil Waddell recently spoke with MYPGNow.com.

“We have been able to replace and repair that last night and we completed our clean up this morning, as far as the city is concerned we are out of that area when it comes to repair work any other delays will be associated with the highway work going on.”

Other work going along Highway 97 includes paving between 5th Avenue and Kelly Road North, which is down to single lane alternating.

The work is expected to last until September.
