Grow op decision held off by city council

Prince George city council have held of on their decision on marijuana grow ops in the city.

At Monday night’s meeting, council was presented with a bylaw on where medical marijuana facilities would be allowed.

Needing more information, council sent the issue back to staff, asking for more specific zoning.

Council debated the issue of doing nothing versus tackling the issue, but Councillor Dave Wilbur says the decision at hand was obvious.

However. many on council agreed, even citing the RCMP in saying the current home-grown system is not working.
