Charges laid in pedestrian collision from last fall

A local driver has been charged in relation to a collision involving a pedestrian last fall.

On September 15, at around 3:00 am, an officer with the Prince George RCMP came upon a pedestrian who had been involved in a collision at the intersection of Victoria Street and 5th Avenue.

The pedestrian, a local 66-year-old man, was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The driver remained on scene.

Investigators believe it that the vehicle was heading northbound and collided with the pedestrian at the uncontrolled and unmarked intersection.
