WHL PLAYOFFS – Conference Finals
The Prince Albert Raiders defeated the Edmonton Oil Kings on home ice yesterday with a 1-0 victory. Raiders’ goaltender Ian Scott made 26 saves to earn the shutout.
Game 2 goes tonight at 6:00 in Prince Albert.
David Tendeck stopped 30 of 31 shots against the Spokane Chiefs, which was good enough to allow the Vancouver Giants to defeat the Chiefs 4-1. Owen Hardy finished the game with a goal and two assists for the Giants.
