Prince George Fire Rescue was called to the scene of a commercial structure fire this (Saturday) morning.
The cause of the fire, which caused an estimated $750,000 worth of damage, is undetermined as the investigation is ongoing.
The fire is said to have occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. at Pacific BioEnergy on 9988 Willow Cale Forest Service Road.
A total of 19 firefighters from four halls responded. When crews arrived they found smoke and fire coming from a lift elevator, which was approximately 120-feet tall.
Due to strong winds at the time, the fire was able to spread to an adjacent process building.
Fortunately, there were no injuries to employees or fire personnel despite the extensive damage to an electrical control room as a result of the blaze.
