For the first time, Prince George Mayor Lyn Hall is hosting the BC Mayor’s Caucus.
According to a release from the City, more than 30 mayors from across the province are meeting at the Civic Centre for three days.
They will be discussing topics such as emergency management, social and economic prosperity, and opportunities emerging from the Government of BC’s CleanBC initiative related to greenhouse gas emission reductions and renewable energy. The mayors also visited the City’s downtown energy system, the wood innovation and design centre, and the wood innovation research lab.
The event began yesterday (March 31st) and ends tomorrow.
