Snow clearing update – Weds, Jan 7

Tuesday’s snow dump and today’s snowfall is keeping city crews busy.

Crews are out clearing main roads, downtown streets, priority hills, schools, and the hospital (Priority One) along with arterial and industrial routes (Priority Two).

During the day shift, the city will tackle main roads in College Heights, the Hart, and Highway 16 out to Giscome Rd. with sanding, salting, and sidewalk clearing.

The night shift has crews working on Priority One and Two routes in the downtown core and Carter Industrial area.
