RCMP in Quesnel have arrested a man wanted for several outstanding warrants.
At 3:30 p.m. on Saturday residents around the 200 Block of Ritchie Street were evacuated while RCMP dealt with an incident inside a home.
Police found a victim outside of a house and negotiated with two people inside for several hours before they surrendered.
With the help of the North District Emergency Response Team, police took the third man with multiple warrants into custody.
Residents were allowed back into their homes at 10:00 p.m.
One man is still in custody.
