The Prince George RCMP are investigating a major alcohol involved collision that took place this morning (Saturday) at the intersection of Highway 97 and Highway 16.
Emergency services responded to a report of a single vehicle collision at the major P.G. intersection at 4:15 a.m.
There were three female occupants in the vehicle that all suffered serious injuries.
One is reported to be in critical condition.
Two off-duty nurses and other members of the public provided initial medical care.
The 17-year-old driver of the full-size pick-up truck from Prince George has been arrested for Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm.
A portion of the intersection was closed for most of the morning but has since been reopened to traffic in all directions.
Investigators are wishing to speak to anyone that may have witnessed this collision.
