Even larger than the Canada Winter Games?
That’s what the Prince George Ski Club is expecting ahead of the TECK U14 Provincials when over 170 young downhill racers arrive at Purden Ski Hill for competition Friday to Sunday.
“We are hosting a greater number of downhill racers for this event than we did for Canada Winter Games a few years back, so it’s been no small effort to bring it together over the last year,” said Eduard Hausot, President of the Prince George Ski Club.
The event has been organized, as well as hosted, by a small army of volunteers with Prince George Ski Club.
The event is the largest gathering of racers this season under the provincial BC Alpine umbrella.
