A two-vehicle crash has closed Highway 97.
According to DriveBC, there was a vehicle incident on Highway 97 between Kennedy Rd and Azu Sub Rd for 1.9 km (8 to 10 km south of Pine Pass Summit).
Corporal Madonna Saunderson told MyPGNow.com that information is limited at this time, however, she believes both were commercial vehicles and one of them may have been carrying lumber.
Saunderson added that injuries have been reported, but did not know the extent of them.
There is no detour available as of yet and the estimated time of re-opening is at 3:o0 am Friday.
