Williams Lake RCMP are investigating a suspicious death.
Police responded to the call just after 2 p.m. Friday, January 2nd that a body had been seen on the ice under the Rudy Johnson Bridge near Soda Creek (approx. 40 km north of Williams Lake).
RCMP arrived to find a deceased male under the bridge, now the Major Crimes Unit is also involved in the investigation, since foul play is suspected.
The identity of the male has not been released and further details haven’t been made available as the investigation is still underway.
