The Prince George ICEMAN is well on its way to becoming reality yet again this year.
The weather could once again take its toll however, and Registrar Jim Van Bakel says while its a little too soon to give a definitive answer, he is confident they will be able to hit the track:
“Its looking good so far lots of snow now, and it looks like some more snow coming in the near future here so that all looks good, I mean hopefully it looks like its going ahead the odds are good”
He says 230 registrations have come in so far, and expects many more to pour in. The race takes place on January the 25th and features an 8 km ski at Otway, a 10 km run to the oval with a 4 km skate and 800 meter swim.
Registrations can be completed online at pgiceman.ca.
