The first baby born at Prince George’s University Hospital of Northern B.C. in 2015 is a boy.
Jack August Simmons was born on January 1 at 8:50 p.m. local time to Mother Jennifer Lestage and Father Tim Simmons of Prince George weighing in at 7 pounds and 1 ounce. This is the pairs second child.
However, Jack was not the first baby born in the Northern Region itself. As that title belongs to Redmond Lawrence Fitzgerald, who was delivered at Fort St. John Hospital at 12:52 a.m. on January 1, 2015!
