Emergency crews in Quesnel responded to a fatal crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian.
According to the RCMP, it happened just after 8:30pm at the intersection of Maple Drive near Kube Road.
The victim was a 32-year-old woman from Quesnel who was struck and later died from her injuries.
The driver remained on scene as the road was closed to traffic for several hours.
Upon further investigation, the woman was wearing dark clothing and was not in a marked crosswalk.
