REAPS cashes in on 26k gaming grant

Prince George Recycling and Environment Action Planning Society is receiving a $26,000 grant from the province.

Executive Director with REAPS, Terri McClymont says the grant “Will be applied towards our community and outreach programs.”

Sustainability is an investment in our future generations,” Prince George-Mackenzie MLA Mike Morris says. “Through organizations like REAPS, our families and environment benefit from implementing environmentally-friendly practices into our daily lives.”

The funding is being provided through the Community Gaming Grant Program that allows non-profit organizations to apply for provincial gaming revenues.
