It might be a Green Christmas in Prince George, this year.
At best, Meteorologist Jennifer Hay says that light dusting that’s on the ground right now could stick around by next week.
“We’re hoping you may hold on to that, temperatures look a little warmer than normal, but you’re probably still going to be mostly below zero between now and Christmas,” she says. “There’s a bit of a wet, snowy period coming through the weekend.”
Hay expects a wet snowy period for the weekend with flurries possibly Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
On Christmas, she forecasts a low down to -11 with a chance of flurries, but no snowstorms headed out way.
