The time of giving is upon us, and the Prince George Blood Clinic is asking for your donation of blood over the Holidays.
Amy Erickson is with Canadian Blood services and says the Christmas season can be tough:
“Generally we see a pretty big impact on our clinics over the holiday season, and we understand people are busy they have family in town, they are preparing for Christmas and the Holidays but unfortunately blood does have a shelf life so we do need donors to come in to our clinic”
Currently, they are also holding a Wrap it Red campaign which involves photos and videos of Canadians wrapping something in red and stating why they are supporting Canadian Blood Services.
Erickson says they still have around 100 appointments left to fill, and to book one just visit blood.ca.
