Break-in stalls opening of second location for vape shop

It wasn’t a great welcome to 2019 for a small business in Prince George.

On January 1st, one of the owners of Interior Vape arrived at their shop on Massey Drive to find it had been broken into.

“My partner came to open up the store at about 8:30 when he saw the lock was drilled out and the doors were pried open,” said Nicholas Worden, co-owner of the store.

According to him, the cost of the break-in has forced them to postpone the opening of their second shop, at 263 Brunswick street, by about a week.

Worden said it’s a scary thing to have your shop targeted for break-in.

“Really I wish people would find better things to do and not attack small businesses, or large businesses, at all. It’s really unfortunate that people think this is the only option they have to make money or make a living.”
