More tips were given to Prince George Crime Stoppers in 2018 than the year prior.
A total of 586 were given last year, resulting in eleven arrests, nine cleared cases, and ten cash rewards approved totalling $1,680. Also as a result of tips, $4,800 in property and drugs were also seized.
Despite the higher number of tips, less arrests were made and a lower value of seized property and drugs were recorded in 2018.
Over 13,000 tips have been received by PG Crime Stoppers since its inception in 1985, resulting in 1,547 arrests and 588 approved awards.
