The Prince George Curling Club ran into a couple of road blocks this year, perhaps none bigger than the replacement of their ice making machine.
There was talk that the Curling season may not happen, but
Dan Martin – President of the club, is pleased to announce the season will be taking place:
“..and curling is going to go ahead, we are going to have a 10 week season starting on January the 4th. We’ll be ready to go, the season will be up and running and we’ll go from there”
Martin says the renovations and upgrades cost them around $260,000, and he encourages everyone interested to apply, as they are still in need of teams and members for the season.
Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
