Santa visits kids at UHNBC

Santa Claus made a stop at the University Hospital of Northern BC this morning. He was dropping off gifts and putting big smiles on kid’s faces in the paediatrics ward.

Childcare specialist Sandra Wyatt says it’s a huge day for the kids;

“Every year we arrange for Santa to come on certain days. Graciously they buy the presents, I sent him the list with all the ages, he comes and it just changes the whole thing up. It’s Christmas, what kid doesn’t like Santa coming to see them?”

She added that it is especially important for the kids that are in hospital for extended periods of time during the holidays and might not have the chance to see him elsewhere.
