Prince George fire rescue crews from three different halls responded to a structure fire last night.
According to a news release, the first crew to arrive to at the 6700 block of Westmount Drive found a two-story family dwelling with light smoke and elevated temperatures coming from the second story around 10:30 pm.
Crews quickly gained control of the incident and extinguished the fire which had started from the bathroom exhaust fan. They say the damage is estimated at $10,000.00.
Two occupants were home at the time of the fire and evacuated safely, there were no injuries to residents or fire crews.
