Christmas schedule about to kick in for Northern Health’s Connections Bus Service

The holiday season in Prince George will result in a temporary stoppage of the Northern Health Connections bus program.

Starting December 17th, departures will start being cut for the rest of the year.

Routes will begin again as early as January 1st, 2019.

Here is the full list of the end and start dates for routes involving Prince George:

Prince George to Vancouver – ends Dec 20, starts Jan 1;
Prince George to Prince Rupert – ends Dec 23, starts Jan 2;
Prince George to Fort St. John – ends Dec 20, starts Jan 3;
Vancouver to Prince George – ends Dec 22, starts Jan 3;
Prince Rupert to Prince George – Dec 22, starts Jan 3;
Fort St. John to Prince George – ends Dec 22, starts Jan 5;
Valemount to Prince George – ends Dec 18, starts Jan 8;
Mackenzie to Prince George – ends Dec 19, starts Jan 2;
Quesnel to Prince George – ends Dec 18, starts Jan 8;
Burns Lake to Prince George – ends Dec 18, starts Jan 8.

Northern Health Connections is a transportation service for people traveling to non-emergent health services away from home.

According to Northern Health, demand for the service drops off during the holidays.
