The Recycling Environmental Action Planning Society (REAPS) want to take them off your hands for you.
REAPS is holding it’s 22nd Annual Recycle toy Drive this weekend to collect toys for children in need this holiday season.
Terri McClymont, Executive Director of REAPS, said in past years they have collected more than 200 boxes of toys that were distributed to 15 different non-profit organizations.
“There’s a lot of toys out there that are no longer loved by their current child and this gives people the opportunity to continue that cycle of donating during the holiday season and continue the love and use of that toy.”
They’ll be accepting donations from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the REAPS Compost Demo Garden, 1950 Gorse Street, on Saturday, Nov 17th.
The organization will also be collecting donations for SPCA and PG Humane Society.
