Prince George’s new council was sworn in this evening, and the crowd took their seats for the first time this term.
The two new faces, Cori Ramsey and Kyle Sampson, were given a warm welcome by the six other incumbents during their speeches.
Also on the docket, three Municipal Directors on the Regional District of Fraser Fort George were chosen, one vote saw Terri McConnachie and Murray Krause make the cut, but the third place was a little harder to get to.
Garth Frizzell, Frank Everitt, and first-time council member Kyle Sampson were all on the ballot for the spot. After three rounds of voting, Frizzell was pushed out and a fourth vote saw Sampson take the third municipal director spot, Everitt became the floating director.
