School District 57 (SD57) is sending Prince George Secondary school (PGSS) students home early today and will have no classes tomorrow (Wednesday).
This is due to a broken water main, according to SD57, resulting in no water in the school’s system and no source of fire protection.
PGSS students who take the bus will be transported home after first-period this morning, and all classes are likely to resume on Thursday once the water main is fixed.
SD57 says parents are being notified via the School Messenger System and a letter is being sent home with students.
Parents are also encouraged to make contact with their children.
