PG RCMP responded to over 30 service calls last night

It was a busy night last night for the Prince George RCMP.

According to a news release, officers responded to 31 separate calls for service between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am for a variety of calls that required “plenty of resources.”

In one of the calls, officers located a naked 40 year old male at Tyner Boulevard and 15th Avenue who was showing signs of “Excited Delirium.” Officers were able to control the man, who was “erratic and violent” until paramedics were able to assist.  The man was transported to hospital for further treatment.

One business was hit twice in the space of a few hours, on Gautier Road off Highway 16 West, a 25 year old woman from Kamloops was arrested around 3:00 am when the commercial building’s alarm went off. Three hours later a 27 year old man was arrested after the alarm went off again. In this incident, a second male suspect fled the area in a grey truck, which police say was likely stolen. Neither the suspect nor the truck have been located as of yet.
