With four goals, including two game-winners, and two assists in three road games, Prince George Spruce Kings forward Ben Brar is the BCHL Player of the Week.
Brar helped his team to a 2-1 record over the weekend.
On Friday, the 19-year-old scored the overtime-winner, added an assist and was the third star in Spruce Kings 5-4 victory over the Coquitlam Express.
The following night in Langley, Brar scored the game-winner again, this time on a shorthanded breakaway, and was the game’s first star in a 2-1 win over the Rivermen.
The Abbotsford native closed out the week with two goals and an assist in his team’s 5-3 loss to Coquitlam on Sunday.
Brar leads with the Spruce Kings with 16 points in 16 games and is for third in the league with 11 goals.
The 10-5-0-1 Spruce Kings play three more road games this weekend; Friday in Trail, Saturday in Wenatchee and Sunday in Salmon Arm.
