Voters will have a chance to face council hopefuls one on one Wednesday at the Prince George Public Library.
Candi-Dating is a speed dating-style forum where members of the public have two minutes with each candidate to ask questions and raise issues in a more intimate setting.
“You can ask them some questions that you’re maybe not comfortable asking in a public forum in front of a bunch of other people,” explains Amy Dhanjal, Communications Coordinator with the PG Library.
“It also gives people a chance to get the candidates to expand on platforms that they’ve announced or things they’ve said in forums that they’ve already attended.”
Seats will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. There will also be space for public observation. This is the second Candi-Dating event
Candi-Dating will take place on the second floor of the Bob Harkins Branch from 6:45pm to 8:30pm.
