WATCH: PG City hall raises new flag celebrating 2015 Canada Winter Games’ legacy

WATCH:

City hall has one more flag in front of it to celebrate the 2015 Canada Winter Games hosted in Prince George.

If the games had not been a success, Mayor Lyn Hall does not believe the same hosting opportunities would be available.

“We can attract and we can accommodate national competitions, national events; we see that at the CN Centre with things like concerts, I really think that we’ve hit our stride.”

– PG Mayor Lyn Hall

A torch relay will be in Prince George December 8th at the PG Civic Centre for the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, Alberta.
