BC Hydro is taking what could be the final decent weekend before the coldfront comes to conduct some important maintenance in Prince George.
Several planned power outages are scheduled across the City, most of which are for pole replacement projects.
Early Saturday morning, crews will be improving some equipment North of the Hart, which will leave 235 customers in the dark for nearly three hours.
Between 4:30AM and 7AM, the following areas will be affected:
- Portions of the Summit Lake, Bear Lake, & McEwen
- Portions of the Summit Lake, Bear Lake, & McEwen
- Polar Canfor Mill
- CN Railway
- Adams Road, Cinnamon Street, Cut Street, Darby Road, Grizzly Avenue, Grizzly Street
- Hall Road, Hart Highway, Hart Lake Road, Huble Road, Highway 97 North
- Industrial Way, Koala Crescent, Koala Place, Koala Road, Kodiak Street, McEwen South Place
- Minabubu Bay Road, Panda Avenue, Polar Street, Summit Lake Road
- Tallus Road, Westcoast Road
Pole replacements are also taking place Saturday and Sunday.
Between 9AM and 3PM, BC Hydro will be shutting off power for almost 10 customers in the following areas:
- Milwaukee Way, Santa Fe Avenue, and Santa Fe Rd
Between 8AM and 4PM, crews will be cutting power at more than a dozen residences in the following areas:
- 9162-9231 National Place and 9185 Rock Island Road
