Rain or shine, the annual kidney walk is kicking off this weekend.
The walk, which raised $348,000 dollars throughout BC and the Yukon last year, is organized to raise awareness and funds for those affected by kidney disease. The money goes towards programs and services to the thousands of people living with the disease across the country. Â
This year, the Kidney Association of Canada hopes to raise more than $400,000.
Registration is at 1:00pm at the AimHi Gymnasium and the walk begins at  2:00pm on Sunday.
